Welcome
As your City Councillor in the City of Brampton, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the Constituents of the Wards 9 & 10 community for your continued trust, support and faith. This year marks my second year anniversary as your Councillor. It feels like only yesterday I was knocking on doors during my campaign of 2006 and realize how quickly the time has passed. I thoroughly enjoy serving the community, meeting with people, listening to their concerns and local issues. This site will provide us greater opportunities to communicate and interact regularly and enable me to better represent you at City Hall.
I am pleased to announce a number of developments within Wards 9 & 10.
- The Brampton Soccer Centre opened in 2007 and in a very short period of time has achieved 10 major awards.
- In the Springdale area, Torbram Road, Bramalea Road, and Countryside Drive are currently undergoing widening.
- Humberwest Parkway opened in 2007 and in the future will connect to Sandalwood Parkway.
- Castlemore Road has been widened and resurfaced from Airport Road to Gore Road.
- Designs for the largest new Community Park – to be built in the Castlemore area will begin soon.
As your Councilor, I work in partnership with Regional Councillor John Sprovieri. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns. I must take a moment to extend a big “thank you” to all the volunteers, friends and family that participated in the "Keeping our wonderful city clean and green" campaign. I look forward to our continued commitment to working together towards a stronger, safer and even more vibrant Brampton Community and a Nation in which every Canadian has a voice.
